Will I be charged duties or taxes?Updated 2 months ago
It depends on where you live - but we do our best to minimise surprises.
Good Tuesday ships from the UK, and international orders may be subject to local duties, taxes, or handling fees depending on your country’s import rules.
Here’s how it works in different regions:
🇺🇸 USA
Since the introduction of tariffs in September 2025, we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — meaning we pre-pay the tariff on your behalf. You won’t face unexpected customs charges when your order arrives.
🇪🇺 EU
We collect and remit VAT under the IOSS scheme, so your order clears smoothly without additional VAT on delivery. However, a few EU countries may still apply local handling or import fees, like the Netherlands, for example, so it’s worth checking locally before ordering.
🌍 Other international destinations
Outside the USA and EU, local authorities may charge import duties, taxes, or handling fees. These are the customer’s responsibility, and we recommend checking your country’s import policies before purchasing.
All international orders are shipped via Royal Mail, which hands over to your local postal service upon arrival.
If you have any questions or want to clarify charges for your country, please reach out to us at [email protected] - we’re always happy to help.
